DTF Pressing Instructions

  1. Pre-press: Press garment for 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
  2. Position: Place the pocket-size or back DTF transfer in the desired location.
  3. Press: Heat press at 300–325°F for 10–15 seconds using medium pressure.
  4. Peel: Peel hot or cold according to your transfer film.
  5. Final Press: Cover with parchment paper or a finishing sheet and press again for 5–10 seconds.

Important: Heat presses and garment materials can vary. We recommend testing your settings before pressing your final item. When decorating both sides of a garment, protect the completed design during subsequent pressing.

Product Note: This listing includes the coordinated back and pocket-size DTF transfers. Finished garments and accessories shown in product images are not included.

DTF FORMULA PRESSING INSTRUCTIONS

  • 275-300 degrees; 
  • HEAVY PRESSURE 8-9 PSI. 
  • Pre press for 7 seconds to remove wrinkles and moisture;
  • Press for 8-15 seconds; LET COOL THEN PEEL
  • Press again for 8 seconds, with a parchment paper covering the design for protection (you don' have to cool again before removing the covering on the repress)
  • ADULT: 11.5" wide or up to 12.75" tall for narrow designs
  • YOUTH: 10" wide or up to 10.5" tall for narrow designs
  • TODDLER: 8" wide or tall depending on design
  • INFANT: 6" wide or tall depending on design
  • LARGE POCKET: 5" wide or tall depending on design
  • CAN HUGGER: 3" wide or tall depending on design
  • HAT: 3" tall, 5" wide depending on design
